On behalf of the International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association (IPITA), a Section of The Transplantation Society (TTS), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 21st IPITA World Congress, taking place July 7–10, 2027, in Montreal, Canada.

The IPITA World Congress is the premier global forum dedicated to advancing both the established and emerging strategies in pancreas and islet transplantation and beta cell replacement. The meeting brings together leading clinicians, scientists, surgeons, researchers, and allied health professionals from around the world to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and shape the future of our field.

The scientific program will be built around the theme “Building the Science of Our Future”, reflecting our commitment to innovation, discovery, and the translation of research into effective therapies for diabetes. The Congress will feature cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical science, combining well-established approaches in pancreas and islet transplantation with new beta cell replacement strategies, including stem cell–derived and tissue-engineered therapies, beta cell regeneration, xeno-islet transplantation, and immunomodulatory approaches. Interactive sessions and multidisciplinary exchange will cover the full spectrum of translational and regenerative medicine in diabetes.
